  • Flying Conditions: The area provides reliable thermals and excellent lift, with flight paths often taking pilots over several big rivers and forested landscapes.
  • Best Season: November to April, when the weather is dry and the skies are clear
  • Launch Sites: We have three launch sites in Udaypur District
    1. Boptang Hill with take-off altitude of 1670ft And official landing at 380 ft
    2. Chaudandigadi Hill with Take-off altitude of 3406 ft and official landing at 870ft
    3. Rauta Mai Temple Hill with Take-off altitude of 6340 ft and official landing at 570 ft

  • Location: Located at the foothills of the Himalayas, Dharan offers a unique mix of hilly terrain and flatlands.
  • Flying Conditions: The region is known for consistent thermals, especially during the winter months, providing ideal conditions for XC flights.
  • Best Season: November to April, when the weather is dry and the skies are clear.
  • Launch Sites: Bhedetar is a favored launch site, offering sweeping views and convenient access.

 - Seasonal Considerations: The best times for XC flights are generally post-monsoon (October to November) and pre-monsoon (March to May). These periods offer stable weather, clear skies, and favorable thermals.
