A Reminder of Flying Wonders Paragliding School Pvt. Ltd. Terms and Conditions (The Fine Print)
Cancellation Policy for Courses or Trips
If you need to cancel your course or trip, refunds will be provided based on a sliding scale tied to the amount you’ve deposited. The refund amount depends on how close your cancellation date is to the scheduled start date of your trip or course. More details are provided below.
Booking Confirmation
For bookings made 45 days or more before your arrival in Nepal, we require a confirmation deposit of 30% of the total course fee and 25% of the total tour fee (except for helicopter tours, which require a 50% deposit). The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival in Pokhara, no later than one day before your tour departs or course begins.
Our Cancellation Policy
We understand that life can bring unexpected twists, and sometimes plans must change. If unforeseen events delay your program, we can reschedule based on availability and your updated timeline. For full cancellations, your deposit will be refunded according to the following schedule:
- 30 to 45 days before the start date of your activity/course: 80% refund
- 14 to 29 days before the start date: 70% refund
- 7 to 14 days before the start date: 50% refund
- Less than 7 days before the scheduled start date: No refund will be issued, unfortunately
Personal Insurance Coverage
Travelers with Flying Wonders Paragliding School Pvt. Ltd. are responsible for securing their own personal insurance. We recommend arranging coverage in your home country before traveling to Nepal, though we can assist with setting it up after your arrival if needed. Your insurance must include worldwide medical coverage, search and rescue, and third-party liability.
Your Belongings in Nepal
Flying Wonders Paragliding School Pvt. Ltd. takes every precaution to ensure the safety of your personal items. However, we cannot accept liability for loss or damage to your belongings or baggage during travel with us, including when handled by porters, pack animals, or vehicles. For added security, we suggest bringing small locks for your luggage—numbered locks have proven most effective.
Flight Delays and Cancellations
Flight delays or cancellations may occur due to unpredictable weather or other factors beyond our control. We advise travelers to build extra days into their itineraries between the end of their tour/course and their international flight home. Should delays or cancellations happen, travelers are responsible for covering their own meal and accommodation costs.
Assumption of Risk
By joining us, you acknowledge and accept the risks and uncertainties tied to your journey and activities, including potential delays, cancellations, personal injury, illness, or even death.
Disclosure of Health Status
If you have a pre-existing medical condition, you must inform Flying Wonders Paragliding School Pvt. Ltd. of the details when confirming your booking. You’ll also need to submit a physician’s statement confirming your fitness to travel and participate in the activities you’ve signed up for.
Situations Beyond Our Control
Flying Wonders Paragliding School Pvt. Ltd. cannot be held responsible for changes caused by events outside our control. As an agent, we are not liable for accidents, delays, damages, losses, international flight cancellations, or inconveniences related to the travel arrangements we facilitate.
Special Advisory
Events beyond our control include, but are not limited to, weather issues, limited availability of accommodations or campsites, unstable political or governmental conditions, challenging trail or environmental factors, and other uncontrollable circumstances. Flying Wonders Paragliding School Pvt. Ltd. is not responsible for the impacts of such delays or changes. If adjustments are needed, we’ll prioritize the group’s best interests after consulting with participants, always aiming to balance the needs of the entire party. Rest assured, we’ll do everything possible to minimize disruptions to your experience.
Special Client Requests
Please notify us in writing at the time of booking about any special needs, such as dietary preferences or other considerations. Flying Wonders Paragliding School Pvt. Ltd. strives to accommodate all requests to ensure our travelers’ satisfaction.
Jurisdiction
This agreement takes effect upon booking and is governed by Nepalese law under the jurisdiction of Nepal’s government.
Complaints
Flying Wonders Paragliding School Pvt. Ltd. is committed to your enjoyment and satisfaction. We, along with our service providers, will address any written complaints submitted within 15 days of completing your activity with us.
